Since March, Copa Airlines will offer 3 frequencies per week towards Manta during operating hours at noon from Panama.
Copa Airlines continues to strengthen its connectivity with Ecuador reaching the fourth anniversary of its third route in the country. The Panamanian airline has announced a major restructuring of its itineraries to the Eloy Alfaro International Airport (GUY) from Manta, introducing for the first time, frequencies at midday. This strategy seeks to optimize connection options for corporate and tourist travelers in the province of Manabi through the Hub of the Americas at Tocumen International Airport (PTY), since a new connection bank will be offered.
Copa flights at noon to Manta
After operating for the first time the daily flight to Manta during the high travel season in this 2016, Copa Airlines will offer from 2027, for the first time, flights to Eloy Alfaro at noon. The itineraries will vary as follows:
- Initial phase (September and October): The airline will operate five flights in September and four flights weekly.
- Consolidation phase (3 of March): The operation will scale to a daily flight (seven weekly frequencies).
- Time diversification phase (7 of March): The new mixed scheme will be introduced, where three of the seven weekly flights will operate at noon (Monday, thursday and sunday), while the remaining four will maintain the usual itinerary.
