LATAM Airlines Ecuador presents a new edition of “Flavors that Transport”, the on-board gastronomy program that seeks to connect travelers with the culinary identity of South America through preparations developed together with prominent chefs from the region.

In this edition, Ecuador will be represented by chef Juan Sebastián Pérez, founder of the Quitu restaurant, recognized for its gastronomic proposal based exclusively on Ecuadorian ingredients from the Sierra, Costa, Amazon and Galapagos. Your participation reaffirms the commitment of LATAM to make visible the national culinary wealth and project it to passengers from different international destinations.

For this new edition, we have chosen Juan Sebastián Pérez, since it has developed preparations that highlight emblematic ingredients of the country and culinary techniques that reflect the diversity of its regions.. Among the proposals, the lamb ossobuco with meat and naranjilla sauce, accompanied by spiced rice and avocado salad, tomato and cinnamon, as well as a menu inspired by the Ecuadorian coast composed of Shrimp ceviche with cocoa mucilage and coastal corviche with salprieta aioli, shrimp and red tuna encocado.

These dishes will be available on selected flights operated by LATAM Airlines Ecuador from Quito and Guayaquil, allowing national and international passengers to discover flavors that represent the Ecuadorian gastronomic identity even before reaching their destination.
The program will be available in operation from Ecuador, on international flights, In cabin Premium Economy for flights of more than three and a half hours, in addition to selected services within the international network of LATAM.
