Copa Airlines continues to strengthen its operation in Venezuela with the announcement of a second daily flight between City of Panama and the Simón Bolívar International Airport of Maiquetía, starting next 15 of September.
This expansion represents a decisive step in the recovery of air connectivity from the capital of Venezuela, after the temporary suspension of operations caused by the earthquakes recorded last 24 of June.
Copa will have two daily flights to Caracas
“We are pleased to announce the incorporation of a second daily frequency at night to and from Caracas, just days after resuming our regular operations in Maiquetía. "This increase responds to Copa Airlines' commitment to Venezuela's connectivity and the need to offer more schedule alternatives and better international connection options for our passengers.", stated Roberto Pulido, general manager of Copa Airlines on Venezuela.
With this new frequency, The airline expands the availability of schedules for travelers seeking to efficiently get from the Venezuelan capital to their international destinations through the Hub of the Americas® on Panama, that offers connections to more than 85 destinations on the continent and more 385 daily flights in the region.

With this new daily flight, Copa Airlines returns to the number of flights and cities served previously, distributed as follows: Caracas, 2 Daily flights; maracaibo, 1 daily flight; Valencia, 2 Daily flights; Barquisimeto and Barcelona, with 4 weekly flights each. What's more, 3 weekly frequencies to Porlamar, Isla from Margarita, from 26 November 2026.
