Avianca Ecuador began the sale of direct flights between Cuenca and Guayaquil that will begin the first week of November with a daily flight on airplanes Airbus A319.
Avianca announced the strengthening of its domestic network in Ecuador with the new direct route Guayaquil-Cuenca. With this operation, The airline will offer a daily flight to fly between both cities.
The new route will expand travel alternatives between the Coast and the Ecuadorian Sierra, facilitating business travel, sightseeing, studies and family visits, and bringing together two strategic cities for the country's economic activity.
Avianca put flights between Cuenca and Guayaquil on sale

The operation will be carried out on Airbus A319 and A320 family aircraft., with a configuration of 180 seats per flight and an offer close to 2.520 weekly seats. The flights will start on 1 of November 2026, providing travelers with a new alternative to move between Guayaquil and Cuenca.
