At every step of your journey, American is working to give customers more confidence and peace of mind when traveling. The airline has expanded the frequency of cleaning in the airport areas under its control, including boarding gates, the ticket counters, passenger service counters, baggage service offices and team member lounges.

American has also improved cleaning inside planes, is distributing disinfectant wipes and gel for customers, and has reduced interactions between flight attendants and customers by limiting the delivery of food and drinks.
