1. Tourism will be one of the priority sectors in our government, That is why we will create a series of measures to reactivate it.. Our first measure will be to exempt all tourist services from VAT collection and payment for 3 years and we will allow to deduct from the income tax the losses of the years 2020 and 2021 even for 10 years. What's more, We will generate a credit line of 100 million dollars over fifteen years with 3 years of grace and 3% of interest for tourist establishments.
2. We will assign the 100% of the funds raised by Ecodelta and Ecuador Tourist Power to promote national and international post-COVID tourism. in addition, We will strengthen the open skies policy by signing bilateral agreements, and we will encourage the arrival of new airlines and routes to lower prices and improve connectivity from Ecuador to the world. Additional, to the promotion we will invest in the development of tourist routes and their corresponding infrastructure. Another of our actions will be to rescue the Ecuadorian Railway to recover tourist activity and family trips from coast to mountains.. What's more, we will promote the railway development of the country as a new transportation option, tourism and cargo.
3. We need to improve the offer in the national air market, for this we will promote the open skies policy by signing bilateral agreements, and we will encourage the arrival of new airlines and routes to lower prices and improve connectivity from Ecuador to the world.
4. The ECODELTA contribution aims to encourage domestic tourism and promote the Ecuador destination in a sustained manner., However, has been used by the government to pay current spending.
