Wingo from the next 6 October will resume the operation of its direct route between Bogotá and Curaçao. In this way, Wingo turns, again, in the only low cost airline from Colombia in offering direct flights between Bogotá and this paradisiacal island of the Latin American Caribbean.

“With the return of our direct flights between Bogotá and Curaçao, We continue to consolidate our position as the number one low-cost airline for Colombians to make their trips abroad a reality, without the need to pay more "said Juan Sebastián Molano, Wingo Communications Manager. “We will restart this route from the next 6 October, always keeping our offer of really low prices, puntuality, biosecurity and good vibes; all as part of our commitment to the democratization of quality international air transport throughout the region”, the manager finished.

Wingo flights to Curaçao

After the restart of operations Wingo to Curacao, starting next 6 October, the airline will offer, initially, two flights a week, Wednesdays and Sundays, in their modern Boeing-type aircraft 737-800 NG capable of 186 Travellers.

“We are glad to know that Wingo is back on the island to serve and connect our visitors from Colombia.. We have always been allies, more than business, of the adventures that the airline and us as a Tourist Office, we can offer to those who visit us, so that your experiences are wonderful, reinforcing the slogan of our island, Feel it for yourself”, commented André Rojar, regional manager for South America of the Curaçao Tourism Office.

Before the arrival of the pandemic, Wingo operated direct flights between the Colombian capital and Willemstad, capital of Curacao, with occupancy factors greater than 85%, demonstrating its position as the favorite airline of Colombians traveling to this island. For this reason, Wingo will once again bet on stimulating demand between these two markets through low prices.

further, with the reactivation of this route, Wingo continues to consolidate itself as the low-cost airline with the largest international operation since Colombia.

from now on, the airline is evaluating increasing the number of weekly flights between Bogotá and Curaçao pending a positive reaction from the market before the restart of this route.
