More competition will lower prices as airlines will compete for each passenger to fill their planes., but you have to be realistic, the limits will always be high even more at the last minute, but as there are more seats available, the user will have other alternatives and the limit will be reduced, never at a promotional price (to fly at the last minute), but certainly less than now.
