From this month of July 2022, the government of Ecuador update the Entry requirements on international flights to the country and Galapagos.
Still waiting for the total liberation of the sanitary requirements in Ecuador, the government through the Ministry of Health and the National COE have updated the requirements and guidelines for entering the country by air.
Entry requirements to Ecuador and Galapagos on flights
Making minor adjustments, I update here for you the sanitary requirements that travelers on international flights must present from the 18 July 2022:
- Every traveler older than 3 years, You must present the vaccination certificate with a QR code or a valid vaccination card against COVID-19 with at least 14 days of validity after completing the scheme.
- Those who do not have these documents must present the negative result of the qualitative test RT- PCR or antigen performed until 72 hours prior to shipment to Ecuador.
- Passengers under 3 years will not present these requirements.
- Any person who enters mainland Ecuador by international air must present The Traveler's Health Declaration is mandatory in digital form when boarding the airline, is available at the following link: https://declarationhealth–msp.gob.ec/, same that must be presented only and compulsorily prior to boarding.
This now implies that children of 3 or more years now they must meet the same previous requirements that we have been seeing several months ago, staying for international flights fill out the health form.
As to Galapagos, Do not forget that prior to boarding you must acquire the transit control card – TCT at airports Quito O Guayaquil.
