The Ecuadorian airline Equair announces the arrival of its new Executive President, Frederik Jacobsen, who assumes this new role in order to enhance the company's growth and positioning strategy.

Frederik Jacobsen accumulates more than 35 years of experience in the aeronautical sector, most of that time managing and leading airlines. From 1997 assumed senior management roles in which he participated in the transformation, financing and launch of passenger and cargo companies. He has worked for institutions as diverse as Lufthansa, DHL, Tampa Cargo, Swissport, VivaColombia, Arajet and LAS Cargo. As co-founder and first CEO of VivaColombia, he was in charge of introducing the low-cost model in Colombia, that has revolutionized the movement of passengers, making it the second largest airline in that country.
