from the next 6 October, Wingo will have a new flight from Barranquilla a Panama, the airline's first international route at Ernesto Cortissoz Airport.
Wingo launches its first international route from Ernesto Cortissoz Airport. This is the route between Barranquilla and Panama City, which will land on Panama Pacific Airport (Balboa) located just 15 minutes from the center of the capital of Panama. The first flight will take off the next 6 October, initially operating twice a week, Mondays and Thursdays.
Total, the airline will make available to Barranquilla residents near 3 thousand seats per month between both routes. Wingo began the sale of this east route 23 August with introductory promotional rates starting in USD 84 on the route Barranquilla – Panama and in USD 64 on the route Panama – Barranquilla.
with this release, Wingo arrives at 25 international routes in 11 Latin American and Caribbean countries, consolidating itself as the Colombian low cost airline with the largest number of destinations operated abroad. in addition, Barranquilla will be the fifth city in Colombia that Wingo connects directly with Panama, after Bogota, Medellin, Cali and Cartagena.
