The Ecuadorian airline Equair announced that it increases flights to Baltra and San Cristobal in the Galapagos Islands from Quito via Guayaquil.
Less than a year after having started its regular domestic operations in Ecuador and is close to receiving its third aircraft, The Equair company announced that it will fly more to Galapagos.

Equair increases flights to Baltra and San Cristóbal
concretely, from the 1 of November next, the airline will increase its frequencies to Galapagos, moving from seven weekly frequencies to 12 weekly flights, being distributed as follows:
- San Cristobal 4 flights per week on Wednesdays, Thursday, Saturdays and Sundays.
- Baltra 8 Weekly flights from Monday to Sunday (Two flights will operate on Mondays)
As for flight schedules, they will operate as follows:
Quito – Guayaquil – Baltra
Monday to Sunday:
- Flight HN1072 take off from Quito to 8:00 hours and lands in Baltra at 10:30 hours.
- HN1073 flight take off at 11:15 hours and lands back in Quito at 15:45 hours.
The second frequency on Mondays will operate at these times:
- Flight HN1078 take off from Quito to 10:30 hours and lands in Baltra at 13:00 hours.
- Flight HN1079 take off from Baltra to 13:40 hours and lands back in Quito at 17:00 hours.
Quito – Guayaquil – San Cristobal
Wednesdays, Thursday, Saturdays and Sundays from 2 of November (Hours may change depending on day of operation):
- Flight HN1064 take off from Quito to 9:30 hours and lands in San Cristóbal at 11:55 hours.
- Flight HN1061 takes off from San Cristóbal at 11:00 hours and lands back in Quito at 15:25 hours.
This change will also come hand in hand with an increase in flights between Quito and Guayaquil on the days of operation of the new frequencies..
