The upcoming arrival of a third Boeing 737-700 for the Ecuadorian airline Equair, I tell you the details in this new post. Foto Alec Wilson

has already passed 10 months from the start of operations on regular domestic flights Equair and now the airline is preparing to increase its presence in the country, first increasing flights to Galapagos and second, incorporating a third aircraft.

The arrival of this aircraft has been sounding for a few months, but unless there is some last minute change, This would take place by the end of October or the beginning of November, according to Montpellier-based spotters., airport where this aircraft is located.

Equair's third plane

From Europe, like the other two aircraft that are already part of the airline's fleet, will soon travel to Ecuador the third aircraft to join Equair. Thus we can speculate further on the increase in frequencies to Baltra and San Cristobal already officially announced, to seek to cover more national routes, this being possible towards Manta, Coca O Sour Lake that are also part of your regular domestic operating permit.

  1. wow what good news, I have a question, what livery will this plane carry?? because there are two different ones in equair the albatross and the condor (I personally like the albatross) which of the two poratra or use a new one? It would be interesting. very good post

Oh good for Equair! more growth, more frequencies and possibly destinations like the Amazon (The Coca or Sour Lake). Yes, being a relatively new aircraft, it helps to improve competitiveness with competing aircraft such as the Airbus A319 from LATAM or Avianca that operate in Ecuador..

It would be excellent if they incorporated a larger plane like the Boeing 737-800 for Quito destinations, Guayaquil that added to the three B737-700 fit smaller airports and runways with less demand.

    Thanks Nicholas for this information..
