The airline Copa Airlines announced its new flights to Austin, texas en USA from Panama, this being his first destination in this state.
From 6 July 2023, Copa Airlines will fly to its first destination that connects the state of Texas with the continent through the Hub of the Americas in Panama.

Copa Airlines will fly to Austin

The new flight to the city of Austin, reinforces the operation of Copa Airlines on USA, joining the 14 cities of the airline in the North American country: Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Tampa, Miami, Orlando, New York, Denver, Washington, Las Vegas, The Angels, San Francisco, Fort Lauderdale and coming soon to Baltimore starting on 28 June services to New Orleans are suspended by the airline until further notice.

Copa flights will operate at the following times, allowing multiple connections to and from Austin:
- Flight CM715 Panama – Austin: 09:18 – 14:04.
- Flight CM716 Austin – Panama: 15:34 – 20:17.
The flights will operate four weekly frequencies (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and saturdays) in airplanes Boeing 737-800 capacity of 160 and 154 passengers in two classes.
The airline launched promotional fares from USD 241 one way. Panama becomes the first connection south of Costa Rica to Austin Airport, In addition to benefiting from the extensive network of connections of Copa Airlines at its hub at the International Airport of Tocumen.
