The best airports in Latin America and the Caribbean

The program ASQ is the world's leading airport customer experience benchmarking and measurement program. Compared to other aviation industry programs, is based on live research through surveys collected at the airport - direct from the traveler - that rate their satisfaction on the day of travel. Airports Council International (ACI) World, in collaboration with the travel technology company Amadeus, today announced the winners of the Airport Services Quality Awards (ASQ) of this year.

New prize categories

Of the more than 465.000 surveys collected in 2022, have been granted 144 awards to 75 airports around the world. Award categories include the perennial Best Airports by Size (passengers per year) and Region, as well as new categories introduced this year to reflect evolving passenger needs:

Gregorio Luperon International Airport

• Best airport with less than 2 million passengers from Latin America and the Caribbean

Punta Cana International Airport

• best airport 5 a 15 Millions of Passengers in Latin America and the Caribbean

Quito International Airport

• best airport 5 a 15 million passengers from Latin America and the Caribbean
• Airport with the most dedicated staff in Latin America and the Caribbean
• Nicest airport in Latin America and the Caribbean
• Cleanest airport in Latin America and the Caribbean

The Quito International Airport and the Guanacaste Airport were also awarded as ACI World Director General's Roll of Excellence. This honor is conferred on five airports that have won multiple awards over a five-year period in the past 10 years as part of the ASQ program.
