Thanks to several innovations, The seats and their accessories are between a 10 and a 15% lighter than others in this market segment, which contributes to the objectives of reduction of CO2 emissions from KLM.
KLM presented the new World Business Class seats (WBC), which were designed based on extensive customer research, in order to offer passengers more space and comfort when traveling. This new category offers:
- Direct aisle access for each seat.
- Greater privacy; Each seat has a sliding door that allows the cabin to be closed, creating a more intimate personal space, comfortable and relaxed.
- The chair comes with more adjustment options that adapt to the taste of each passenger; Features a back massage function and adjustable support.
- The seat reclines completely, forming a comfortable bed almost two meters long (198 cm).
- Cab features multiple easy-access outlets and a wireless option.
- For greater peace of mind, World Business Class customers have a private lockable compartment to store their personal belongings.
- The seat has a built-in mirror and a recessed bottle holder that avoids inconvenience in case of turbulence.
- The other characteristic services of KLM business class, such as catering and the SkyPriority circuit, remain.

For the new World Business Class, KLM chose Jamco Venture seats in a configuration 1-2-1, that allow all passengers to have direct access to the aisle.
The JAMCO design, conceived in collaboration with KLM, It is lighter than the design of its previous version, what contributes to reduce CO2 emissions.
The entire fleet of Boeing 777-300 and 200 from KLM is being equipped with the new World Business Class seats, as well as the latest Premium Comfort cabin. The fleet renewal will be completed next year, so gradually the destinations where the Triple 7 Opera will receive these new seats and options.
