Good Morning
What is the certification status of the 777X? ?
There has been no news, but the test flights continue.
Delta really needed to complement the renewal of the B777 with the A350-900 and after having retired the B747-400, it needed to cover that market niche. I think United will do something similar although the B77Ws are still young, as American Airlines also operates..
Anyway, I hope one day we will see those Airbus A350-1000s in Latin America.
Regrettably, The delay of the 777X did not help Boeing to be able to keep Delta as an operator of the 777, Of course the classics will continue for several more years, but in general they will be removed in the future.
