Wingo announces the opening of a new international route that will directly connect Bogota with Guatemala city, thus expanding its network of destinations in Central America and consolidating its presence in the region.

This new connection, that will begin operations next 27 October, will operate with three weekly frequencies: Monday, Wednesday and Friday. What's more, will be available around 39.432 chairs between October 2025 and June of 2026.

With this new operation, Wingo becomes the only low-cost airline that offers a direct flight between Bogota and Guatemala City, which represents a unique opportunity to expand access to this Central American destination. This direct connection will allow more people to travel efficiently, comfortable and competitively priced, thus strengthening tourism and integration between both countries.

Tickets will soon be available on Wingo.com from 21 of July, with promotional introductory rates from 113 dollars for the trip BogotaGuatemala and from 88 dollars for the trip Guatemala – Bogotá, in the basic tarpha, which includes a personal item on board.

This is international route number 24 of the airline, a milestone that reaffirms its sustained growth in the region and its commitment to continue expanding air connectivity in Colombia with other Latin American countries.

With this opening, Wingo promotes tourism and cultural integration between Guatemala and Colombia, two countries with growing exchange and notable regional dynamism. During the first semester of 2025, 67 one thousand Guatemalans traveled to Colombia, which represents a growth of 30% compared to the same period of the previous year. At the same time, 39 thousand Colombians visited Guatemala in that same period, reflecting an increase in 9%. These figures consolidate Guatemala as an increasingly attractive destination for Colombian travelers., and Colombia as a pole of tourist and commercial interest for Guatemalans.
