Avianca announces unpublished destination in Mexico

Avianca announced the launch of the route that will land directly for the first time in Monterrey, Mexico, from Bogota, Colombia.

With this operation, travelers will be able to connect between both destinations starting next 26 October with four frequencies a week.

Currently, Avianca has eight routes and 84 weekly frequencies that connect their clients with destinations in Mexico and, with the entry into operation towards Monterrey as a new destination, there will be nine routes and 88 frequencies per week.

“Today we celebrate the opening of Monterrey as a new destination that will connect directly with Bogotá, with which we will make available to travelers more than 1.400 seats per week between both destinations and which is added to the eight international routes that we already operate in Mexico”, said Frederico Pedreira, Avianca's CEO. “Only in the first semester of 2025 we transport more than 579.000 travelers to and from Mexico in more than 4.400 flights, so, with this new operation, We want to continue providing new connectivity opportunities for Mexicans to more than 80 destinations on our route network in America and Europe”, ended.

• From Bogotá to: Mexico City, Cancun and since October, Monterrey.
• From Medellin to: Mexico City and Cancun.

• From San Salvador to: Mexico City⁴ and Cancun⁵.
