The airline Arajet began flights to Córdoba, your second regular destination in Argentina from the Punta Cana Airport.
Arajet, the airline flag from Dominican Republic, celebrated the inaugural flight of its new direct route that connects Córdoba with Punta Cana, becoming the airline's first flight at the Ingeniero Ambrosio Taravella International Airport to one of the most important tourist destinations in the Caribbean.

This launch occurs in a context of strong growth in traffic between Argentina and the Dominican Republic: during the first semester of 2025, The arrival of Argentine tourists to the country increased by 89.5 % compared to the same period of 2024, and Argentina positioned itself as the third country that sends tourists to the destination, with projections of reaching close to 450,000 visitors in 2025.
With the start of this operation, Córdoba becomes the second destination of Arajet in Argentina, a strategic step that consolidates the airline's expansion in the Southern Cone. The choice of Córdoba responds to the growing demand of the Argentine market and the interest of inland travelers in having direct options to the Caribbean. This new entry point adds to the presence already established in Buenos Aires and significantly expands connectivity opportunities for thousands of passengers who can now access not only Punta Cana., but also to the regional network of destinations that Arajet operates from the Dominican Republic.
