Avianca presented its year-end balance sheet and announced important changes to its service, announcing Business on domestic flights, Wi-Fi and more.

Avianca closed the first three quarters of 2025 with outstanding performance in Ecuador, consolidating itself as a key player for air connectivity, tourism and economic development of the country.

Between January and September, The company transported more than 2,2 million passengers to and from Ecuador, which represents a growth of 11,7% compared to the same period of the previous year. In operational terms, recorded an increase in 17,4% on flights, reaching 17.772 takeoffs, evidence of the continuous strengthening of its presence in the Ecuadorian market.

Avianca announces national Business and Wi-Fi

Currently, the airline operates 19 routes and offers more than 200 frequencies, facilitating the trips of thousands of Ecuadorians and tourists who visit the country.

This solid performance in Ecuador is part of a year of growth for Avianca, in which the airline transported more than 27 million passengers in more than 195.000 flights during the first three quarters, Expanding your network to more than 155 routes, that connect more than 80 destinations in 25 countries of the American continent and Europe. Recent openings include Guayaquil–Miami, Bogota–Belém and Bogotá–Monterrey, contributing to an increase in 13% in the connectivity provided by the company to the region.

In line with this growth, and after announcing an investment of more than 800 million dollars destined to strengthen its fleet and improve the experience of its customers, Avianca presents the “More for everyone” campaign, that integrates key innovations in comfort and connectivity.

More comfort

From 15 of January of 2026, the experience Business Class Americas will be available in 47 national routes in Ecuador, Colombia and Guatemala. What's more, is already offered in more than 80 international routes and will be extended to 18 additional routes, covering the operation throughout the continent.

On land, The airline raises its hospitality standards with the new Insignia by service Avianca Check-in at El Dorado, exclusive for Lifemiles Diamond and Concierge members, as well as the renewal of the Diamond VIP Lounges for national and soon international flights in Bogotá.

More connectivity

The airline moves forward with the progressive installation of connectivity Wifi on board, through Avianca on air, initially available in 10 planes. Currently, passengers have access to more than 300 films, HBO Max and Formula series and documentaries 1 TV, and more.
