The airline Air Canada began operating exclusive cargo flights, under charter mode, to Ecuador, landing on the Quito airport.

With two weekly frequencies, under non-scheduled charter operation, the main Canadian airline began exclusive cargo flights to Ecuador, which reaffirms Air Canada's commitment to the Ecuadorian air market.

The presence of this airline is not new in Ecuador, since december 2019 through its filial Rouge started a seasonal operation between Toronto and Quito with three weekly flights with Boeing aircraft 767, with flights from December to May.

From United States, the airline transports to Ecuador medical supplies, spare parts and technology, while for the return to Canada, the airline carries on its aircraft tons of a wide variety of flowers including roses, foliage and others.

With two flights a week, the airline will operate with Airbus A330-300 aircraft, which will allow the transfer of approximately 17 tons of cargo on the following frequencies operating to Montreal and Toronto:
