the spanish airline Iberia announces the increase in flights to Montevideo in Uruguay and San Jose de Costa Rica.
With the aim of gradually recovering its usual program of flights with Uruguay and Costa Rica as demand reactivates, Iberia increases -since August- its offer to Montevideo and San José, which demonstrates the airline's commitment to these markets and reinforces its leadership in Latin America.
Let us remember that Montevideo was the first route on which Iberia launched - together with THERE IT IS– the new app IATA Travel Pass that allows passengers to store, manage and verify health documentation.
Flights to Montevideo
These flights are operated with aircraft Airbus A330-200, with capacity for 288 passengers, 19 in Business class and 269 in Tourist. The Airbus A330-200 are twin-engine aircraft, with a maximum takeoff capacity of 242 tons and a range of up to 11.500 kilometres, besides being a 15 percent more fuel efficient, thus providing both cost efficiencies and environmental benefits.

Iberia is gradually recovering its usual flight program as demand is reactivated and, since this summer, It is now possible to fly daily to San José, Costa Rica. With this increase in supply -from five to seven weekly frequencies-, Iberia reinforces its leadership and commitment to Central America.
These flights will also be operated by Airbus A330-200 aircraft with capacity for 288 passengers, 19 in Business class and 269 in Tourist.
