The different requirements and travel conditions continue to change based on government decisions, despite the fact that it has been confirmed that these measures did not prevent the spread of the virus, many countries maintain measures that limit the economic recovery of aviation and tourism.
Definitely, Venezuela has been one of the countries in the region that, together with Chile have maintained the most stringent and limiting requirements, although on this occasion a minimal relaxation can be seen in the new travel requirements.
From May new travel requirements for Venezuela
Specifically, from the 30 May 2022, the National Institute of Civil Aeronautics – INAC of Venezuela reported that new mandatory provisions for travelers come into force, which are the following:
- At the airport of origin:
- Vaccination certificate (full outline) against Covid-19, in physical or digital format with QR code or other validation method, whose last dose was at least 14 days before the date of entry into the country. Having served more than two hundred and seventy (270) days after last dose of full schedule, a booster dose will be required.
- The passenger who does not present the aforementioned vaccination schedule, must show the negative result of a PCR molecular test with a maximum validity of seventy-two (72) hours on arrival.
- Upon arrival in the country:
- The passenger must undergo the PCR test at the airport of entry to the national territory, from the 5 year old.
