Avianca confirms the forthcoming start of direct flights between Quito and Buenos Aires with 4 weekly flights from next October.
Avianca continues to strengthen its route network and provide new direct connectivity options for Ecuadorians. Starting today, the airline opened the sale of air tickets on the new route Saint Joseph – Quito – Buenos Aires, that will connect the Ecuadorian and Argentine capitals from 30 October 2022.
With 4 flights per week, the airline will make available to passengers an offer of almost 4000 seats per month to fly between Mariscal Sucre International Airport and the Ministro Pistarini International Airport.

“Ecuador and Argentina are countries that are closely linked by tourism and study trips. With the opening of this new route, we continue to promote the country's connectivity with the rest of the continent and offer a very competitive alternative to travel to the southern cone”, Maria Beatriz mentioned, Commercial Manager for Ecuador. What's more, recalled that in the last year Avianca has been making an important commitment to growth in the country that translates into 6 international routes, 5 local routes, what it represents about 200 domestic flights and more than 100 international per week.

The operation of this flight complements the current route Saint Joseph – Quito with which the airline offers a very interesting alternative to integrate three countries with great tourism and business potential: Argentina, Ecuador and Costa Rica.
