The airline Avianca announced the increase of three new direct routes from Ecuador, flights that will start from March 2023.
Before the end of the year Avianca announced the increase in international operations from Ecuador to destinations within Colombia, thus reaffirming its commitment to promote connectivity and tourism in the country. Starting today, Ecuadorians will be able to choose and buy their air tickets through the different sales channels to fly non-stop to Medellin and Cartagena since March 2023.

The airline reported that it will operate these routes on A320 and A319 aircraft with capacity for 180 and 120 passengers respectively with what they make available to their customers around 14.000 monthly seats. Currently Avianca opera 6 domestic routes in Ecuador and from March it will connect 11 direct international destinations with which the group of airlines that make up Avianca consolidates itself as the most robust air operator in the country.
