Wingo announced the creation of its first international subsidiary, on this occasion in Panama and began flights to its first domestic destination, David.
Wingo, the only operating low-cost airline in Colombia, announced the creation of a subsidiary in Panama: Wingo Panama. This new company already has the operating certificate issued by the Civil Aeronautics Authority of Panama.
Wingo Panama is born
The new airline began operations last 11 of August, when the route takes off City of Panama – David, the first domestic route in that country that will be operated under the Wingo brand.
This new route has two initial frequencies per week, on Fridays and Sundays, and represents the incursion of the low-cost model into the domestic market of Panama.
