Arajet takes the next logical step after starting operations less than a year ago, fly towards the USA to considerably increase the demand on their flights for their 17 destinations in 11 countries to which it currently operates with a fleet of 5 planes Boeing 737 MAX.
Its growth has been rapid. fly to 17 different airports in less than a year is a very commendable achievement, although at the moment the number of weekly frequencies to each of these destinations is limited by the number of aircraft operating, the airline quickly became one of the companies that flies the most routes in the region and the most important since Dominican Republic.
With more 44 weekly frequencies operating to their destinations, the airline will also add flights from Santiago de los Caballeros, the third airport in the country towards Bogota as announced in ANATO.
Flights to Miami and New York
Additional to the routes already operated by the airline, for this year Arajet expects to add two key destinations to its destination network: Miami and New York.
Both destinations are in high demand both for Dominicans and for most countries in South and Central America.. When these flights are completed, the idea of Hub at the International Airport of Santo Domingo finally begins to take shape and the flights to USA will produce an imminent acceleration of the average occupancy and propping up its financial capacities thanks to this.
Given the traditional demand for trips to visit friends and relatives to and from the states of Florida and New York of Latinamerica, additional growth of the airline is to be expected in the main migrant markets such as Colombia, Ecuador and Mexico, in case these flights connect with each other.
The request made to the DoT specifies that the airline seeks to fly (without indicating frequencies) Come in Dominican Republic and USA directly or with intermediate points such as Puerto Rico to New York and Miami
The airline's intention is to launch these flights in the fall of 2023 with his fleet of planes Boeing 737 MAX with capacity for 185 passengers.
Other destinations to which the airline would operate in USA in a next phase they would be Orlando and Boston, which are already part of your operating permit.
