Bolivian Aviation (BoA) is the state airline of Bolivia and one of the main airlines in the country. It was founded in 2007 as part of the Bolivian government's efforts to improve national and international air connectivity and promote tourism in the country.
BoA was established to replace the former state airline Lloyd Aéreo Boliviano (LAB), that ceased operations definitively in the 2012. The new airline inherited some of LAB's assets and began operations with an initial fleet of aircraft Boeing 737.
