The Government of Ecuador announced the purchase of two Airbus C295 more for the service of the country, which will go to the Ecuadorian Army and Navy.

President Guillermo Lasso confirmed the past 18 of October that the Minister of Defense, Luis Lara, signed the contract with Airbus for the acquisition of two new Airbus C295 (HOUSE C295) for both the Ecuadorian Army and Navy. The two new CASA 295 acquired will be in charge of surveillance tasks, recognition, maritime intelligence, troop transport, cargo and/or vehicles, load throwing, parachute jump, aeromedical evacuation and personnel transportation, material and humanitarian aid.

These would be the first C295s to be delivered to both the Naval Aviation like to the Army Aviation.
