Emirates plans to install Starlink throughout its fleet in service, made of 232 aircraft, in the next two years. The airline has already equipped its first aircraft with Starlink, he A6-EPF, the Boeing 777-300ER which is currently exhibited in the Dubai Air Show, where visitors can experience high-speed connectivity first-hand on the ground.
The first commercial passenger flight Emirates with Starlink will depart immediately after the Air Show, with the return to service of the A6-EPF, marking the start of an accelerated fleet-wide deployment. The airline will equip approximately 14 aircrafts per month with Starlink, starting installation on the Airbus A380 fleet in February 2026.
The airline is prepared to install two antennas on each Boeing 777 and, as a first in the industry, three antennas in each Airbus A380, thus guaranteeing the highest levels of connectivity, capacity and coverage in all classes for a better customer experience. Emirates will also offer live television through Starlink, initially on personal devices and subsequently on seatback screens starting in late December 2025.
Starlink Wi-Fi service in Emirates It will be free for all customers, in all cabins of Starlink-equipped aircraft, with easy one-click access that requires no payment or special Skywards membership.
Starlink represents the latest enhancement to the Emirates onboard experience, which includes more than 6500 entertainment channels, the iconic lounge on board the A380 and the spa with First Class shower.
This deployment also reflects the magnitude of the modernization program of almost 220 Emirates aircraft. Till the date, 76 completely renovated aircraft have entered service with Premium Economy, Redesigned Business Class, Renovated First Class suites and high-quality finishes throughout the cabin.
