British with more flights to Buenos Aires and Santiago
The main change will be concentrated on the route between London-Heathrow (LHR) and Buenos Aires (EZE). Flight BA245 will become a direct and uninterrupted operation without the previous stopover that the company made in Brazil. The itinerary will take off from LHR at 19:25 to land at the Ministerio Pistarini International Airport at 05:25 the next day. Back, the BA244 will exit Buenos Aires at 15:10 and will reach London at 08:30 (+1).
From Buenos Aires, The service will continue in a direct section towards the Arturo Merino Benitez International Airport on Santiago de Chile (SCL). The BA245 section will take off towards Santiago at 07:00 to land at 08:30. The return from the Chilean capital as BA244 will operate at 11:10, arriving at Ezeiza at 13:10. With this setting, The company will offer the only non-stop option between the British capital and Buenos Aires, guaranteeing daily connections to Chile.
This reorganization will free up capacity in Brazil. The daily route BA249/8 between London Heathrow and Rio de Janeiro (GIG) will eliminate the scale that continued towards Argentina, becoming a dedicated flight. Flight BA249 will depart LHR at 21:45, while the return BA248 will take off from Galeão at 16:45.
Within the regional expansion plan, route BA233/2 between Londres-Heathrow and San Jose, Costa Rica (SJO) will stop operating only in the winter season. The service will maintain its three weekly frequencies throughout the year starting on 28 march 2027.
