Nothing to close the 2018, It is time to review the main news left by the international routes that operate to and from Ecuador.
Definitely, a better year for all Ecuadorian aviation, but still with great challenges ahead, especially, which will mean the closure of the route of Tame between Quito and New York, that for now will leave the destination with one less Quito airport, but I'm sure that soon, some other airline will fill that space.

Ok, so definitely nothing to do with this topic ?
It has to do with the topic, but Wikipedia is not reliable, at least for now, there is no interest from the airline in operating the route, at least officially.
Buenas tardes:
The Avianca Ecuador page indicates the route to New York (It does not indicate from which city) to start in year 2019
What about this ??
Greetings
JIMMY
The Wikipedia page? If you mean that, It is not a reliable source of information..
Is not safe , The first destination that Avianca Ecuador would launch would be Miami, where the Avianca Holdings group is very strong. , after that JFK would come
Let's see, but I don't think, Avianca is strong from Bogotá to Miami and New York, I don't know if they are interested in losing that connection traffic in Bogotá, at the end, It is the strength of UIO flights – GYE to Bogotá.
