After having started regular domestic operations towards Cuenca and Guayaquil from Quito last 5 of August with its fleet of two Boeing aircraft 737-500, Aeroregional will add more destinations to its destination network in the coming months.

With these requested routes, Aeroregional will add competition to Catamayo Airport where it currently operates only Tame EP with 15 weekly frequencies to Quito and 2 to Guayaquil with Embraer planes 190 y ATR42-500.
While at El Coca, will enter to compete with Tame EP with 15 weekly frequencies and Avianca Ecuador with 5 weekly frequencies.
For this increase in frequencies, It is expected that in the coming months the airline will incorporate two additional aircraft, of which one would be a Boeing version 737-400 and another -500, which will also enhance its domestic and international charter operation and potentially, a regular international operation as well.
